President Vladimir Putin gave his counterpart Kim Jong-un a Russian-made Aurus as a present during his state visit to Pyongyang on Wednesday, and received a pair of stunning white dogs from his host.
Footage from Korean Central Television (KCTV) shows the leaders clearly both enjoying a spin in the new car, and took turns to drive the vehicle. They can also be seen inspecting the 'Pungsan' hounds, a type of local hunting dog.
Putin arrived in Pyongyang on Tuesday for a two-day official visit. The trip culminated with the signing of a landmark mutual defence partnership, a pact which would see 'mutual assistance' in the event of any 'aggression' against either.
This visit marked the Russian president's second trip to the DPRK. In 2000 he met with the current leader's father and predecessor, Kim Jong Il.
