Chelsea are having a hard time as the team is striving for both a top position in the Premier League and the UEFA Europa League trophy to ultimately qualify for the Champions League, admitted Maurizio Sarri after a 1:1 away draw against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.
Speaking at a press conference in Frankfurt, Sarri also justified putting Eden Hazard on the bench for the first hour, stating that he needed rest from the numerous matches he had played. "We have to play in Premier League in 62 hours and it's not easy to recover. And especially in a competitive championship like the Premier League, you risk to pay," concluded Sarri.
Adi Hutter called the draw a success admitting that for the second leg, the team needed to perform better than their best to win, without ruling out the possibility of doing so however.
