Description

A 12-year-old cow named Chandramani became a daily visitor at a drapery shop in Raipur's Mahalaxmi market during the past seven years.

Footage filmed on Saturday shows cow visiting shop and being petted by the customers and the shop owner.

"She comes every day between 3 pm to 7 pm and stays in the shop for 30 minutes to 2 hours. We do not disturb her as we consider her as our owner. We welcome her as the owner of this shop", explained Padam Dakiliya, the owner of Manohara Saree Shop.

Despite the unusual circumstances, Chandramani's daily visits continue to charm the locals and visitors alike. The shopkeeper thinks this is also a kind of spiritual marketing.

"From the time of our birth for a few years, our mothers feed us their milk, but cow gives us milk all throughout our lives. Not just milk, ghee, yogurt etc. The food that we eat that grows in our soil. The cow makes the soil sacred by its droppings. I would say that cows are a very sacred part of our lives and that's the bonding I have with this cow", Padam Dakiliya shared.
