At least 18 people were killed after a bus carrying around two dozen wedding guests crashed into a river into the Indus River in northern Pakistan on Tuesday.
Footage shows locals and volunteers gathering near the bank of the Indus River and some floating on rubber boats as the search continues for the bodies of the remaining passengers.
"There were 27 passengers on the bus, most of them were swept away by the river. We have recovered some bodies and the search is still ongoing," said one of the victims' family members.
"Our rescue teams are not well-equipped - that's why 12 bodies remain in the river," another family member said.
Passengers were on their way to attend a wedding in Chakwal city in Punjab province when the bus veered off the Thalichi Bridge and fell into the river in Gilgit-Baltistan, according to local media reports.
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday offered condolences and asked rescue teams to speed up rescue operations.
