Porto coach Sergio Conceicao said in Liverpool on Monday that "team dynamics are what really matters" ahead of his team's clash with Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday.
Conceicao touched down on the absence of Porto midfielder Hector Herrera from Tuesday's game by saying "if player A or B plays besides Danilo, it doesn't matter. I think the team dynamics are what really matters. I know it's a cliche, but it's true."
Despite Porto being eliminated by Liverpool last year, "we don't have a feeling of revenge," said Porto player Danilo. "Who thinks about revenge ends up badly. We have a feeling of ambition, a lot to believe, of a team that has worked hard to be in this stage."
Porto have not won any of their last 12 away knockout games in the Champions League - losing eight - since they beat Deportivo La Coruna 1-0 in May 2004.
The winner of Tueday' game will play either Barcelona or Manchester United in the Champions League semi-finals.
