Liverpool fullback Trent Alexander-Arnold spoke to the press alongside his manager Jurgen Klopp at a conference in Madrid on Friday, a day ahead of his side's Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur.

Alexander-Arnold said he would draw on his experience in last year's final, which Liverpool ended up losing 3-1 to Real Madrid.

"I don't want to feel like the last season in Kiev, that'll be running through my mind during the game and maybe tomorrow we maybe can put a 1-2 percent extra in," the 20-year-old said.

His boss, meanwhile, shrugged off his record in cup finals, calling himself the 'world record holder at winning semi-finals.'

Klopp lost his past six finals after winning the German league and cup double with Dortmund seven years ago.

Liverpool take on Tottenham Hotspur at 21:00 CET in the Reds' second final in two years and the Londoners' first ever.
