Description

Margaret Thatcher Square in Madrid was rebranded Jeremy Corbyn Square by Liverpool fans on Friday, ahead of Saturday's Champions League final.

Printed pieces of paper bearing the name of Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn were taped over, and on, the Margaret Thatcher Square signs by cheeky Reds supporters.

A British passerby commented on the informal rebranding, saying: "I'm not so keen on Jeremy Corbyn, he's a nice guy but I don't agree with his policies so it's a shame to see that, but on the other hand it's a bit of a joke, it's funny so I'm all for it."

Madrid was the first city in the world to name a square after the former British Prime Minister, in 2014.

Liverpool take on Spurs at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano stadium on Saturday 21:00 CEST (19:00 GMT), in the Reds' second final in two years and the Londoners' first ever.
