Russian daredevil Aleksandr Chubarov performed a spectacular stunt on Wednesday, climbing a rope tied to an airborne An-2 aircraft while in the skies over Moscow region.
Footage shows Chubarov climbing up the rope that is hanging from the open door of the aircraft, before ascending and then jumping from the rope.
"Everyone said you can't climb a rope from an aircraft in flight. An aeronautical engineer told me before takeoff that I’d get tangled up around the plane. Still, I’m going to do the impossible,” Chubarov announced via social media.
Chubarov explained that he spent a year and a half preparing for the stunt. Social media users praised Aleksandr for his nerves of steel, noting that 'limits are only in our heads'.
