Footage shows Kanye fans chanting his name and singing along to his songs while police are shown erecting a barricade and pushing the gathering away from the building.
Music producer Yana Rudkovskaya announced on her Telegram channel on Sunday that West, also known as 'Ye' had arrived in the Russian capital and was staying in a hotel in the city centre.
"Kanye West is already in Moscow! This is super news! He stayed in the very heart of the capital," Rudkovskaya said.
The musician reportedly made the trip to mark his friend, Russian Fashion Designer Gosha Rubchinskiy's 40th birthday. The designer has been the creative director of West's Yeezy brand since December 2023.
