A Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) IL-76 aircraft carrying another 30 tonnes of humanitarian cargo for residents of Gaza departed for Egypt’s El Arish on Wednesday, the ministry’s press service reported.
Footage shows EMERCOM personnel loading humanitarian aid onto the aircraft.
Later, the ministry announced that the flight had successfully landed at its destination.
"Russian humanitarian aid has been delivered to the territory of the Arab Republic of Egypt and will be handed over to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society to be further transferred to the Gaza Strip," EMERCOM reported.
According to the ministry, 28 flights have carried more than 700 tonnes of aid since the beginning of the humanitarian mission.
